IR-DOSY and Raman-DOSY chip: IRMA

The IRMA liquid sample cell is a versatile tool engineered for advanced Infrared (IR-DOSY) and Raman Diffusion-Ordered Spectroscopy (Raman-DOSY) measurements.

The cell features a robust, standardized metal frame but offers flexibility in its sandwich sample insert materials to ensure optimal performance for your specific technique.

  • For IR-DOSY: The insert is made of Calcium Fluoride, which is essential for its excellent transparency in the mid-infrared range where most functional groups absorb.

  • For Raman-DOSY: The insert is made of Fused Silica, which is preferred for its low background fluorescence and high chemical resistance, crucial for clear Raman signals.

Available Spacer Thicknesses (Pathlengths): 0.050 mm, 0.1 mm and 0.230 mm.

Calcium Fluoride Optical Windows with 0.005 mm pathlength

This circular CaF₂ (Calcium Fluoride) window with a ~5-micron spacer is specifically designed to facilitate measurements of biomolecules in water using infrared (IR) spectroscopy.

For specialized requirements, customized spacers of varied shapes and thicknesses are also available, offering flexibility for unique analysis needs.
